Test of English as a Foreign Language is an examination required by all international students whose medium of instruction is other than English and also native language is other than English. This examination is mandatory for admissions to colleges and universities in the following countries:

• USA

• UK

• Canada

and several other countries where medium of instruction is English.

Presently this examination is conducted through a computer.

Emphatic Result Academy has developed a tutorial program for students to develop good English language skills. Classroom coaching is conducted by experienced tutors and provided computer based tests to help students to learn the intricacies of American English language to face TOEFL test.

The TOEFL test has four sections 

Listening -- Measures the ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America.

Structure -- Measures the ability to recognize language that is appropriate for standard written    language.

Reading  -- Measures the ability to understand short tests used in North America.

Writing   -- Measures the ability to write in English on an assigned topic, to compose an essay.

The TOEFL computer test is of a total of 300 points.
